We had our speech's a couple of weeks ago. I don't really like speech's so I decided to to go first or second. I got higher mark than I was expecting, I got 74/100 which is really good to me compared from last year when i got only 46/100 which is really bad. When presenting our speech's we got assessed from the teacher and our peer's and then the class had a vote on who deserved to go to the school competiton.
In our class Shylee who is a year seven went through to the school competition as well as shannon who is a year eight. On my comment from the teacher this is what it is: Good use of questioning to hook the audience and lead into your research information. You have thought about your target audience and referred to situations that they can relate to. Try to look up at your audience to gain eye contact. And my peer coment was: Good presentation but you could look up at the audience a bit more.
SCIENCE FAIR
Last week we had the science fair at our school and as you would know if you were keeping up to date with my blog it was a big model of an eco-house. It took me 3 weeks day after day after day to complete the model and then i got marked 60/100. I was shocked at that because i thought i would have got at least 75/100 but I guess not. Here is the evaluatgion sheet that we got marked on.
