Seminars
This term we have to present seminars that have to be eight to twelve minutes long on a topic which is related to your career you are interested in for later on in life. I have chosen to do my seminar on the RNZAF (Royal New Zealand Air Force). My main idea is to make a virtual tour of the Wellington RNZAF and also make a flight simulator for some people to try out during my seminar because I think that some people will really enjoy it.

TVNZ6 Web Page Design
At the beginning of September our class entered in the TVNZ6 multi media challenge where you/your group create your own website about being financially safe for children beginning adulthood. We sent our entries in to the competition, but we did not win anything but one group from our class did make it to the finales and are going up to Auckland soon for the awards ceremony. My groups web-site was very inter resting I think but not good enough. Here is the link to my website. Click Here

Science Fair 2010
Today we handed in our science fair projects and everyone got to see my model of my eco house and it was a big hit everyone was was looking at it for ages, which is a good sign for me because hopefully the judges will like it just as much. I am also entering in the Franklin science fair, which i have high hopes for getting a placing. For my model i have a Eco house which is two stories high with a windmill on top as well as solar panels so it can run by itself on the power front. And for the water i have to get water from a tank or water main, and to heat it i will use the fire place. The fire place will also heat the house. It does produce carbine dioxide but if you get the wood from your property it will be fine because your not getting wood from rain forests but your on back lawn. And a little carbine dioxide is good for the environment. My house also has a full glass front to let in light so you don't use as much power and it will heat the tiles and feel like under floor heating.
